Sushi Art for Children

cropped-sushi-art-leaflet-image1.jpg

Sushi is a great activity to keep children occupied. It’s fun, versatile, easy to make, and healthy! Classes will focus on showing your child how to make temari sushi (little sushi balls) and to decorate them with their choice of ingredients, whether vegetables, fish or meat. They will also be taught how to use sushi moulds to make their favourite characters, and how to make a simple maki roll.

Children will be encouraged to make stencils to cut into the nori in customising their sushi and will have use of Japanese sushi stamps such as panda faces, animals and smiley faces! This is a great opportunity for children to have fun together with their friends by sharing their ideas.
