I made a full Japanese breakfast this morning, making use of some of my new beautiful dishes and plates. These are great for experimenting with Japanese breakfast foods, such as natto (fermented beans…sounds bad, but not too different from miso paste and so good for you!), tofu, pickles/umeboshi (honey pickled plums), salted salmon, and tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled egg omelette). These foods are all high in protein and very healthy, making them a good choice for your breakfast.
