Learn how to make beautiful Japanese sushi canapés with a festive twist, whilst enjoying a Japanese inspired cocktail (or mocktail). You will be using only natural flavours such as fish eggs, sweet potato powder, herbs and other ingredients to decorate with.
This workshop will focus on the fun, creative and decorative aspects of your temari (named the sushi of geisha because of their small and delicate size), temaki, simple maki and inari sushi types. The presentation of what you make is all in the detail and Alice will assist you with this, using sushi accessories and bento tools to enhance this so that you can recreate it easily for your own dinner parties or events at home.
Authentic Japanese snacks and small tapas dishes will be served throughout, along with home-made Japanese cocktails (non-alcoholic version available), including flavours such as yuzu, matcha, umeboshi, sparkling sake and more!
