Modern Japanese bento (lunchboxes) have become an art form, known as ‘Chara-Ben’ (Character Bento). In this class you will make beautiful and fun Character Bento that you can take home and enjoy!
You will also learn how to prepare and make seasonal inspired side-dishes for your bento such as Japanese potato salad, pickles, tofu or seeweed salads. Alice will assist you in arranging your bento and you will be able to take home a range of bento accessories such as a mini condiment holder, bento dividers, and mini forks.
Please inform Alice of any dietary needs you may have, as all can be catered for. Each class will have a maximum of 5 people unless arranged as a private event.
