Kusudama (meaning ‘medicine ball’) were traditionally used as amulets in ancient Japan. Since then they have been used for incense or even pot pourri, made by flowers and herbs. In their modern form they are popular decorations or gifts.
This special Star Kusudama is carefully hand-made from 30 individual pieces of origami paper and is slightly glazed to add more durability.
