This private session will provide a thorough overview of sushi making, traditional Japanese flavours and an introduction to Japanese cooking. A wonderful gift for a sushi or food lover!
We’ll start by preparing, cooking and seasoning the perfect Japanese sushi rice. You’ll then make around 7 different types of sushi, from small beautiful and intricate canape types to the larger and more filling sushi rolls, everything you could wish for! To make this extra special, you can choose to make either miso coated aubergine, known in Japanese as ‘miso dengaku’, salmon teriyaki, a traditional Japanese salad or an alternative small dish.
You’ll gain in-depth knowledge and new skills, whether you’re a complete beginner or you’ve made sushi before. We’ll focus on what interests you the most and the course will finish by enjoying the delicious meal that you’ve made, complete with Japanese tea or a glass of sake.
